"Our father, James D. (Jim) Shaw, was a gentle man with an enormous curiosity and love of learning. A minister and lifelong educator, Jim Shaw had a strong interest in language, speech, and the performing arts, especially music. He was a 41 year resident of El Reno and dedicated a substantial portion of his life, 27 years, teaching local students language, writing, and communication at Redlands Community College. As a family, we are dedicated to keeping these memories of his life alive. We hope that the positive aspects of his life, rather than the tragedy that ended his, will be the lasting heritage." -Jill, Jason, Justin

4/1/08 Update: Almost there! We are getting very close to reaching our goal for the golf scramble sponsorship. With less than 2 months until the scramble, I feel confident we can reach our goal. This graphic shows the progress of the golf scramble sponsorship. So far so good. With just under 100 days until the fundraiser, we are more than 1/3 of the way to our goal. We are confident that sponsorship of $5000 will cover the majority of costs associated with the golf scramble. |
